Philosophy

Generally, there are trade-offs between part feature requirements and assembly tolerancing requirements. If these trade-offs are made incorrectly, product cycle time and cost will increase.

Our philosophy is that mechanical product design cost can be optimized.

By establishing design rules and understanding design and manufacturing constraints, we define a single set of feature variation (and GD&T) controls that optimize the features’ manufacturability while meeting design performance requirements.

Using a rule-based process (which we call the MechPro™), we can predict both design and manufacturing quality before building hardware.

By automating MechPro™ with our MechTol™ software, we can further reduce design cycle time and cost.
